What a shambles of a company and the employees they actually cause more trouble than their was in the fist place stay away from London trains lier usless company usless employees s simple as that

Cheap uncomfortable
Garbage, rubbish infrastructure, uncomfortable seats, oddly designed toilets, cold, poorly lit and generally a sense if being short changed. Staff trying very hard to compensate and very professional.

Great hi-tec trains. Lo-tec service.
Great hi-tec trains. Lovely work wear glossy uniforms. But same lo-tec appalling service.

Train connection from Peterborough to York was a beautiful looking Azuma vehicle. The shape of the future Unfortunately, it was dangerously overcrowded. Passengers sat in the aisles. And all travelling at 125 mph?

Return train even more interesting. The train started at York, was late there and got progressively later.

We missed connection at Peterborough.

"Whispering Bob Harris" on announcements. Nobody could hear a thing!

Great technology. Badly managed. Bring back one state owned railway that owns all trains and tracks.

Stop this shambolic pretence of competition between service providers that provide appalling customer service.

We used LNER 4 times in 3 days from…
We used LNER 4 times in 3 days from Peterborough to London in the first class. The staff was super nice, food and drinks too. All services were on time. But a very annoying things kept happening - people walking throughout the train including via 1st class and food preparation places to disembark quickly at their Station. This made our journey very stressful, having paid for first class tickets found that people standing in the corridors for a good part of the journey. We think this should not be encouraged.

This is one of the most crap trains I…
This is one of the most crap trains I have ever been on they cancelled my first train at the last minute and THEN they make us move About 6 times if you need to get to London take something else as this is the most horrendous train I have ever been on it also have over price food NEVER COME ON THESE TRAINS UNLESS TOU WANT TO BE TIRED AND FEELING LIKE ABSOLUTE CRAP AFTER

Absolute shambles!!
Absolute shambles!!! Arrived at kings cross as I do everyday a train was delayed said head to plat03 for Stevenage …. So I did… asked woman on train … nope first stop is Peterborough! So I go to ask LNER staff…. Next one 45 mins later! Walk back to main booking hall!! Announcement next train to Stevenage leaving from platform 3 now!! So I run!! I’m 30 degrees heat only to find a barrier up!! Too late he said LNER staff have not got a clue what is going on!! I work for TFL this is absolute shambles

Helpful shift manager's
I wanted to extend my thanks to shift managers Lindsey and Emma at kings cross Station Wefor assisting me when I had issues with my journey on Monday because of change of train timings. They were both very helpful and accommodating. I really appreciated their efforts to make sure my journey was as smooth as possible.

Absolute horror show from LNER…
Absolute horror show from LNER yesterday. The midday service from kings x to Inverness on 11/7/22 was travel service at its very worst. Held up several times which can happen however dangerously overcrowded train. Kids sitting in aisles. Lady on buffet cart from London to Newcastle was extremely ignorant. Train manager a disgrace. Countless lies over the tannoy. No honesty at all. Train was due at Inverness at 8. 10 before it made Edinburgh. No toilet paper to wipe my 2 girls with from 4pm. One bottle of water to share amongst 6. 2 minutes notice train was terminating at Edinburgh. Manager announcemed he would arrange alternative transportation for people going past Edinburgh. He then stayed in the train for an hour till the platform clear so no questions to answer. Pensioners and families with no idea how to get home or where to seek help. This company is not fit to run a raffle and the train manager was at best utterly incompetent at worst a danger to life. Hang your head in shame LNER

Just got off the train from York to Newcastle although the train was delayed getting into Newcastle the team that served us in 1st class were brilliant

LNER Newcastle Station staff
We were travelling from Edinburgh to Newcastle.
Everything was going well.
Train clean,fast, and on time.
But we were keen to drama, so we firgot the backpack in the train....with passports, cards... sock and horror.
Fortunately, the LNER customer service staff, help us to sort the issue.
They were very professionals and kind and engaged.
Thanks indeed to all staff and specially to Lisa.
Excellent service.

Had more than one hour delay on our…
Had more than one hour delay on our trip from London to Edinburgh. We requested a refund due to the delay and received a reply that the ticket will be fully refunded within 2 weeks. I have been waiting for 4 weeks now and have not received any refund. Emails were also not answered anymore. I cannot recommend to travel with this company.

Amazing Staff
I was on an early morning Sunday service from Peterborough to York, and the train ended up being delayed for 20 minutes or so at the station due to a brake problem; no fault of the crew. I had a tight connection to make and it would’ve been stressful, but the customer attendant in the cafe bar made it so much better; Aftab is an absolute legend; humble amusing and kind. He made this simple almost disastrous train journey memorable for the the right reasons. This is a recurring theme with LNER. Every staff member I meet and talk to are absolutely lovely. Do be respectful with them, they’ll all go the extra mile with you.

Great service, good communication
The train from London to Edinburgh was on time and all staff were very friendly. The toilets were clean and the train manager was very communicative during a 10 minute delay due to an issue on the track ahead affecting all train companies. A great experience - thank you.
